Laying the Foundation for Total Health
Scripture instructs us to build our house on a foundation of solid rock. With a solid foundation one can build their house knowing it can withstand forces that come against it. One builds upon a foundation in an orderly way, floors, walls, and roof. One would not build a roof before the walls are built nor would one build walls before the floors were built. The order one builds upon a foundation is important, first, come to the floor, then the walls and finally the roof. In many ways our bodies are like building a house, we need to start with a firm foundation then build upon that. Dr. Brook's chiropractic care has three stages to help build upon your solid foundation, providing a healthier, better, and productive life.
Stage 2: Corrective/Restorative Care
Once your body has fully healed and you are no longer experiencing back pain or other pain symptoms, it is important to come in for periodic chiropractic adjustments to avoid further problems in the future. Usually, this stage of chiropractic care only requires a quick visit to the chiropractor 1-2 times per month, based on your lifestyle and goals.
Stage 1: Relief Care
If you are in pain when you come into our Roseville chiropractic office, our first objective is to help you reduce pain and start feeling better as soon as possible. Depending on the severity of the underlying condition which is causing your pain, it is typical for a patient to need chiropractic care or adjustments 2-4 times per week for 6 weeks.
Phase 3: Wellness Care
During the corrective stage of chiropractic care, muscles and other tissues are allowed to heal more completely, which helps prevent further injury or pain. The goal of corrective or restorative chiropractic care is to help bring your body back to 100% functioning. It is typical to need chiropractic care or adjustment about 4 times per month for 2 months, depending on your overall goals.
